Features : This instrument was developed for protecting people and property that may be at risk from strong winds. This unit has a waterproof housing and connections for external alarm outputs. These external outputs may be used for audible or visual alarms, or a combination of both depending on the application.

It is recommended for noisy or large work areas where the alarm tone of the standard unit would not be heard over background noise. The Waterproof housing is recommended where the alarm unit is at risk from moisture such as rain or sea spray.

It consists of 2 parts:

1. A display unit with 4 programmable warning thresholds (2 min and 2 max).

2. A multidirectional turbine (wind sensor) enabling measurement of the wind in the horizontal plane and in the vertical as well (turbulence behind objects). The turbine sends its signal magnetically to a transducer located at the end of the cable connected to the display. This transmission system simplifies the installation process.
