Side stay

Side stay. This is the tube that keeps the mast base in a vertical position. It goes from the back of the chassis up to the mast base, where it is secured with the mast base knob. They may bend if there is a heavy impact when capsizing, but they are easily straightened. Putting the X-sail on it's side, and standing on the side stay at the bent part usually works.
